• Support each stage of the investment process, including business development and screening, negotiations, due diligence and presentation to the investment committee. • Conduct initial assessments of target companies, markets, and regions. • Play a key role in due diligence processes, including coordination with internal teams and external consultants. • Support management of covenant breaches and track country, market, and sector risks relevant to the portfolio. • Collaborate with Principal, Financial Institutions Investments, to refine strategies and analytical tools.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field; an advanced degree (MBA, CFA, or equivalent) is a plus.
  • Minimum of three (3) years of directly relevant work experience in an investment/credit rating role.
  • Proven track record in executing debt transactions/credit rating of financial institutions.
  • Advanced financial modelling skills in Excel.
  • Outstanding communication and presentation skills in English and Spanish.
  • Ability to work well in a team as well as independently.
  • Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced culture and adaptable to change.
  • Passion for impact investing and familiarity with retail or SME loan products in emerging markets.
