Role Description Own federal maritime business development across the US East Coast—especially US Coast Guard (primary), US Navy program offices, and primes/integrators. Qualifications - Direct military/defense maritime sales experience (USCG/USN procurement fluency). - Proven hunter behavior with long‑cycle capture and spec‑in wins. - Salesforce discipline (stages, hygiene, forecast accuracy). - Polished, conservative executive presence and high integrity; strong teaming with primes/integrators. - DC/DMV residence strongly preferred; ability to travel ~50%. Requirements - Accurate, defensible federal forecasts and repeatable gate progression. - Established teaming/partner frameworks with primes/integrators. - Increased spec‑in positions and steady proposal throughput. - Faster time‑to‑first qualified opportunity and a growing, validated pipeline. Business Development Representative Your Mission As a Business Development Representative at Open Systems, you will be the driving force behind generating new business opportunities within the US and EMEA mid-market segment (500 to 25,000 users).
