Contract Specialist

JOB SUMMARY: The Contracts Specialist at Argano will support the Leadership and sales team through reviewing contracts to ensure alignment with business and legal requirements, gathering approvals, tracking status and communicating to stakeholders. In addition, as a team member you will be responsible for ensuring internal systems are aligned to provide accurate reporting data. This position involves working closely with various teams including sales, legal, operations and finance to review all revenue generating contracts. This role is also responsible for streamlining workflows and improving efficiencies in the contract review process. RESPONSIBILITIES: - Handling multiple contract reviews and projects simultaneously - Assist sales and team leaders with maintaining the Argano CRM system, ensuring accurate and up-to-date information - Assist sales teams in adhering to governance processes and maintaining alignment in internal systems - Reviewing, drafting, and managing contracts, including NDAs, MSAs, vendor agreements, and other legal documents in adherence to business standards and requirements - Ability to identify, assess, and mitigate risks in contractual language - Managing the complete contract lifecycle from initiation to renewal or termination - Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in revenue operations to proactively identify operational improvements and enhancements that align with business requirements MINIMUM AND/OR PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: EDUCATION: - Bachelor's degree in business administration, finance, or related field EXPERIENCE: - Advanced English communication skills - Minimum 2 years of experience in contract management, sales/revenue operations, or a related field - Understanding of core operating technologies and the end-to-end contracting process in a professional services industry - Strong business acumen, communication and problem-solving skills - Collaborate daily in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment as part of a team that shares responsibilities and tasks using visual workflow management SKILL REQUIREMENTS: - Technology Proficiency: Proficiency in contract management systems (e.g., Salesforce, SharePoint, Conga Contracts), and Microsoft Office Suite - Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills for interacting with cross-functional teams and legal counsel. Ability to collaborate with legal, sales, finance, and procurement teams to ensure contract compliance and process efficiencies - Contract Review & Management: Demonstrated experience in reviewing, and managing contracts, including NDAs, MSAs, vendor agreements, and other legal documents. Ability to interpret and negotiate contractual language to ensure compliance and mitigate risk - Adaptability: Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and navigate through dynamic business environments - Attention to Detail: Meticulous attention to detail to ensure accuracy in contract review and data analysis - Time Management: Efficient time management skills to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced setting - Process knowledge: Knowledge of revenue operations processes and methodologies to identify areas for improvement and implement efficient workflows - Financial Acumen: Basic understanding of financial principles and revenue recognition standards to support revenue forecasting and analysis Argano is the first of its kind: a digital consultancy totally immersed in high-performance operations.
