SUMMARY: Responsible for performing assignments supporting Supply Chain Procurement and Value Analysis. Assignments may include sourcing, creation of financial comparisons, building and maintain contact documentation, monitoring compliance, assistance with contract renewals, extensions, terminations, and contract reporting. Interacts with suppliers to align Supply Chain support activities with a focus on post signature and/or post approval activities. RESPONSIBILITIES: - Assists and monitors contractual agreements between Brown University Health and suppliers of products and/or services. This includes duties such as maintaining contract documentation, assistance with contract renewals, extensions, and reporting. Builds connections with suppliers to ensure appropriate communication and issue resolution. - Maintains accurate contract pricing within the Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system, investigates pricing discrepancies and product inquiries with suppliers, and participates in analytical activities including use of data tools and resources. Utilizes intermediate procurement procedures and techniques as needed. Analyzes and reports on financial attributes including pricing, discounts, rebates, and contractual commitments. - Necessary skills include project management, effective communication, organization in a diverse portfolio of work, attention to detail, and knowledge of commonly-used Microsoft Office functions. Utilizes a collaborative team-centered approach to forming and maintaining positive working relationships. Participates in development and continuous improvement of Supply Chain processes. - Adheres to federal and state laws and regulations pertaining to contracting and procurement of equipment, supplies, and services. Plans and implements recurring work using established procedures, conferring with Supply Chain leadership as necessary. • The Senior Director of Commercial Supply Chain Strategy will be accountable for the global commercial supply chain function, commercial supplier oversight, and deliverables supporting launch and on-going supply for Definium products • This role will provide leadership and vision in leveraging processes, technology and partnerships to solve business problems, build capability, meet commercial supply chain requirements, and drive supply chain maturity • Develop and maintain end-to-end global supply chain strategy and supply network from drug substance through to finished drug product • Oversee management of commercial contract manufacturers suppliers and identify opportunities for efficiencies and cost reduction • Work directly with external manufacturers and packaging organizations stakeholders to establish commercial supply agreements, meet commercial supply demand, and plan for future forecast • Develop a strong partnership with Trade and Distribution to select and oversee third party logistics providers, and contribute to ensuring efficient delivery of product to end customers • Lead end to end value chain planning - inventory management across raw materials, drug substance, drug products and finished goods • Implement and integrate serialization solution through supply and distribution network that meets most recent DSCSA compliance requirements • Develop and optimize processes and systems (i.e. ERP) by working directly with commercial, pharmaceutical development, quality, and finance to ensure short and long-term manufacturing supply needs are met • Develop risk mitigation strategies which enable uninterrupted supply & business continuity

• Provide regional leadership support to Logistic Specialist, Manager and Directors. • Oversee a team of logistic specialists, managers and directors to provide guidance. • Maintain positive relationship with regional customer base by coordinating, monitoring and managing projects related to supply chain logistics. • Conduct business review with established customers and identify trends. • Provide expertise and guidance in establishing logistical requirements to help support the RFP process and presentation. • Participate in the long-term business strategy for assigned territory. • Spearhead efficiency and improvement initiatives for logistic support services around customer management.
