Leidos is seeking a high-impact Talent Champion to support our Application Modernization capability, driving the identification, engagement, and hiring of top-tier technical talent aligned to our most critical programs and growth priorities. This role goes beyond traditional recruiting, serving as a strategic partner to leadership, owning talent strategy for a defined capability, and building proactive pipelines of cleared and non-cleared technical professionals. What You’ll Do - Own talent strategy for the Application Modernization capability, aligning recruiting efforts to business priorities, growth initiatives, and workforce plans - Champion internal talent first, ensuring qualified internal candidates are identified, engaged, and considered early in the hiring process - Partner with Hiring Managers and Capability Leaders to shape hiring demand, influence skill requirements, and develop targeted hiring strategies - Build and maintain high-quality, proactive pipelines of technical talent, including passive candidates - Lead full lifecycle recruiting across funded efforts, including sourcing, screening, interview management, offer negotiation, and closing - Act as a trusted advisor to stakeholders, providing insights on market trends, talent availability, and competitive positioning - Deliver a high-quality candidate experience, effectively communicating Leidos’ mission, impact, and value proposition - Track and manage key recruiting metrics including pipeline health, time-to-fill, and conversion rates - May collaborate with the Sourcing COE and New Business teams to ensure pipeline readiness for priority captures and programs What You’ll Bring - Bachelor’s degree with 4+ years of talent acquisition experience (May consider extra years of relevant experience in lieu of degree) - Proven success recruiting for technical skill sets - Demonstrated ability to build and sustain passive talent pipelines for complex technical roles - Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence and guide hiring decisions - Experience developing and executing targeted sourcing strategies in competitive talent markets - Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining a strong sense of ownership and urgency - Proficiency with ATS and CRM tools (Workday experience preferred) - US citizenship is required and able to obtain Secret security clearance What Sets You Apart - Experience recruiting in the cleared DoD / IC environment strongly preferred - Familiarity with modern software development ecosystems and emerging technologies - Strong storytelling ability to engage and convert passive candidates - Data-driven mindset with a focus on continuous improvement If you're looking for comfort, keep scrolling.
