Catholic Charities is seeking a Bilingual Clinical Therapist to provide outpatient mental health to children and adults in individual and group settings, in person or virtually. JOB SUMMARY Under the supervision of the Director and Program Managers of Clinical Services provides counseling services to individuals, adolescents, and families according to evidence-informed best practices and within agency guidelines. This contracted position will keep a minimum of 5 cases . Compensation is based on a 60/40 revenue split, with the contractor receiving 60% and Catholic Charities retaining 40%. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES - Conduct individual, family, marital and group therapy counseling as directed by the client’s clinical needs. - Ensure that referrals are made to appropriate internal and external services as required to meet the needs of the client. - Respond to all referrals in a timely and professional manner. - Some experience and understanding of trauma and Trauma Informed Care practices. - Maintain accurate client documentation regarding services provided according to Agency guidelines, using the database(s) provided by the agency and within Agency time frame. - Actively participate in team meetings, and training. Requirements JOB REQUIREMENTS - Master’s degree in social work or related field. - License in Social Work or related field from the State of Tennessee (e.g., LCSW, LMSW, LMFT, LPC-MHSP). - Bilingual English /Spanish (REQUIRED) - Must have knowledge of human behavior and child development and the ability to use various methods and techniques of counseling with children, adults, couples and families. Additional skills or requirements - Must possess a current NPI or willing to obtain one. - Willing to be credentialed and paneled for private insurance through Headway. - Ability to handle confidential information with extreme professionalism. - Effective interpersonal skills. - Strong verbal and written communication skills. - Good computer skills, including knowledge of Microsoft Office products, with ability to learn new technology as needed. - Ability to exercise good judgment, courtesy, and tact in dealing with the public and staff. - Self-starter with ability to work independently. - Satisfactory completion of a background and reference check.
