IT Solution Analyst – License Entitlement Management

Trissential

• Maintain accurate license entitlement and contract data in ServiceNow SAM Pro • Support software maintenance renewals by collaborating with sourcing and legal • Conduct license true-ups, de-scoping, and reclamation activities • Analyze software usage and spend to identify cost savings and optimization opportunities • Assist with planning, budgeting, and demand forecasting • Handle operational and ad hoc requests to support the broader SAM organization • Present findings and insights to team members and leadership • Engage with external vendors as needed through sourcing

Job Requirements

  • 5–7 years of relevant experience in IT operations, SAM, licensing, or analytical roles
  • Experience with ServiceNow SAM Pro, Flexera, USU, or similar software asset management tools
  • Strong understanding of software licensing models and entitlement management
  • Ability to read, interpret, and analyze End User License Agreements (EULAs)
  • Proficiency in Excel; comfortable analyzing and presenting data
  • Experience with Power BI for dashboard creation (or ability to learn quickly)
  • Strong communication skills, with confidence in presenting findings to stakeholders
  • Eager to learn, collaborative, and comfortable working across teams

The base salary range for this full-time position is $66,500.00 - $80,000.00. This range reflects the minimum and maximum target for a new hire in this position.
