• Own features end-to-end across frontend and backend (true 50/50 contribution) • Help design and build a greenfield product, contributing to architecture and technical direction from day one • Develop scalable APIs and services using Django and Node.js • Build intuitive, performant UIs using React and modern component libraries • Collaborate with product and design to translate requirements into technical solutions • Ensure clean system design, maintainability, and scalability across the stack • Implement robust testing strategies (unit, integration, and API testing) • Optimize application performance and reliability • Participate in code reviews and contribute to engineering best practices • Work closely with other engineers to ensure seamless frontend-backend integration

• Build full-stack features: React/TypeScript on the client; Django/REST services, data models, and background jobs on the server • Own outcomes, not tasks • Design clean API contracts and evolve schemas/migrations; improve performance and reliability • Partner with Product & Design from discovery to delivery • Keep UIs accessible and responsive • Raise engineering standards • Partner with Support to investigate production issues

• Design and deliver complex, scalable solutions • Drive technical decisions and act as go-to expert in the domain • Solve intricate challenges while balancing short- and long-term priorities • Collaborate closely with the team, providing feedback and shaping priorities • Raise the team's technical standards through code reviews and mentoring • Advocate for engineering best practices and ensure reliable, customer-focused solutions • Take full ownership of large, high-impact projects
