Account Executive
Portfolio Communications LLC
• Prospecting for new clients • Continually growing your account base • Developing stronger relationships with existing clients • Working to understand each client’s needs and requirements • Applies a services centric selling solution approach with a focus on client outcomes • Strategic solutions selling (new customers and some existing customers) • Account planning with leadership, business partners and our technical services team • Conducting needs analysis and discovery-based meetings with customers • Creating customized business solutions • Identifying client’s desired business outcomes • Helping clients develop a vision for their digital transformation • Achieving consistent quota attainment and gross profit targets
Job Requirements
- Proven hunter mentality with ability to execute
- Organized problem solver with a proven track record of exceeding sales quotas
- Strong financial and business acumen
- Previous services sales experience in the technology field is a plus but not required
- Excellent communication / negotiating / closing skills
- Ability to manage entire sales process from prospecting through close
- Strong verbal and written communication skills and CRM usage
- Previous state and local or federal government sales experience is a plus but not required
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent preferred
- Ability to travel up to 15% in the territory
