Job summary To design and implement scalable, secure, and innovative solutions on the ServiceNow platform that align with client requirements and industry best practices. The role ensures architectural integrity, data integration, and compliance while providing technical leadership across project lifecycles. Role includes the overall accountability for the performance of one or more ServiceNow instances, as well as the cross platform integration into other technologies. What you will do - Delivery of robust ServiceNow solutions that meet client needs and compliance standards. - Effective collaboration with cross-functional teams and stakeholders. - High customer satisfaction and successful project outcomes. - Continuous improvement in architectural practices and platform capabilities. - Demonstrated leadership and mentorship within the technical team. - Deliver highly automated efficient and systemised processes across CDW UK&I that help our internal stakeholders continually improve their functions. - Platform Ownership, be accountable for the performance, improvement and adoption of “your” platform. - Solution Design: Translate business requirements into scalable ServiceNow architectures. - Platform Expertise: Leverage deep knowledge of ServiceNow modules (e.g., ITSM, ITOM, HR, SecOps, GRC). - Data Integration: Architect seamless data flows using APIs and middleware. - Security & Compliance: Implement controls aligned with GDPR, HIPAA, and CDW Global IT policies. - Technical Leadership: Guide development teams, enforce coding standards, and mentor junior staff. - Collaboration: Work with analysts, PMs, and infrastructure teams to ensure delivery success. - Documentation: Produce architecture diagrams, technical specs, and implementation guides. - Continuous Learning: Stay current with ServiceNow trends and pursue certifications. What we expect of you - 3+ years as a ServiceNow Solutions Architect in addition 10+ years in development roles - ServiceNow CTA certification - Strong knowledge of ServiceNow architecture and modules (e.g., Incident, Change, Service Catalog) - Proven experience in designing and implementing data integration strategies, using APIs, web services, and middleware technologies. Experience with data integration, APIs, and middleware - Proficiency in JavaScript, HTML, CSS, AngularJS - Development experience in other platforms other than ServiceNow, and demonstrable ability to architect across multiple platforms such as SalesForce - Understanding of security protocols (LDAP, VPN, SSL, SAML/SSO) - Agile/Scrum delivery experience - Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills - Ability to hold workshops and perform requirement gathering - ITIL Foundation or equivalent experience - Strong organisational, time management, and problem-solving skills - Proven enterprise level team player and team building / mentoring skills – must excel at being a team player and helping team mates achieve an outcome. - Strong ownership, accountability, and attention to detail in all work efforts - Self-driven, quality-focused, and adaptable to new technologies Nice to Have: - Experience with DevOps, Asana, Microsoft GP & Navision - Development Experience in SalesForce - Exposure to greenfield architecture and enterprise-level ecosystems - Passion for technology and customer-centric problem solving We make technology work so people can do great things.     CDW is a leading multi-brand provider of information technology solutions to business, government, education and healthcare customers in the United States, the United Kingdom and Canada.
