Junior Software Engineer – Problem Solving, Coding Focus
DocPlanner
• Join teams working on Marketplace & Search, Practice Management Systems, AI-powered Clinical Tools, Patient & Data Integrations. • Build systems that matter and optimize for clarity, speed, and long-term maintainability. • Work in small autonomous teams that own real product surfaces end-to-end. • Engage in production impact early - even as a junior engineer. • Participate in an engineering culture focused on simplicity, correctness, and measurable outcomes.
Job Requirements
- Strong foundations in computer science
- Solid understanding of data structures, algorithms, complexity, and core software engineering principles.
- Ability to build real software
- Comfortable working across the stack to design, implement, and ship features that solve real user problems.
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Builder mindset
- Curiosity about users and problems
- High learning velocity
- AI-first engineering mindset
- Academic background in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or another rigorous technical discipline is preferred.
- Competitive programming experience and evidence of building things through side projects, startups, open-source contributions, hackathons, or shipped products is also preferred.
