In this role, you will be in charge of advising and coaching our clients throughout the entire market research process, from finding the right methodology to interpreting the results for a multitude of different projects. You are a true sparring partner, exciting clients about customer centricity, agile market research, and innovative research methods. What you’ll be doing - You will act as a sparring partner for a variety of clients in the creation, adaptation, and analysis of market research projects - You will design studies (e.g., method, target group, sample size) - You will create bespoke questionnaires across a multitude of use cases (e.g., U&A, tracking, concept testing, creative testing, MaxDiff, Conjoint) - You will set-up questionnaires and fieldwork on the Appinio platform - You will interpret market research results and provide clients with hands-on recommendations for action - You will collaborate closely with the sales team on the implementation of initial projects for new customers - You will manage projects and contribute to the strategic development of our Research Consulting Team and Appinio products - You will integrate AI into all steps of the research process, collaborating with the product team to enhance our integrated AI tools You will thrive in this role if - You hold a degree in psychology, business administration, market research, statistics, or similar data-related fields - You have at least 4/5 years of experience in quantitative market research (end-to-end) - You have at least 4/5 years of experience in supporting and consulting B2B customers - ideally, in SaaS, management consulting, or advertising/communication - You are fluent in English and proficient in German (C2 level spoken and written) - You have excellent communication skills, a hands-on mentality, pragmatism, and proactivity, as well as an affinity for numbers and data - You have a cooperative and caring attitude - You are based in Europe (ideally in Germany, Spain, or the UK) What’s in it for you? - Flexibility Policy - Our flexibility policy means there is no hard cap on the number of vacation days you can take - Temporary work from abroad - If you're based in the EU, you can work outside your country of residence for up to 180 days per year - All the hardware you need and your own MacBook - If you are located in Hamburg or Berlin, you'll get a Deutschland ticket or access to a mobility budget with the NAVIT app to get you to and from the office space - Subsidised Urban Sports Club or ClassPass membership based on location. - In case you’re located in one of the cities where most of our fellow Appinioneers are (Hamburg, Berlin, Munich, London, Madrid, Barcelona, or New York), you can get access to our Co-working spaces Additional role details - This is a fully remote position open to candidates based in Germany, the UK, Portugal, the Netherlands, and Spain. - This role will report directly to one of our Research Consulting Team Leads (DACH). This objective includes: - Building conceptual causal loop diagrams (CLDs) to represent farm-level feedback structures. - Developing and calibrating a quantitative system dynamics (SD) model to simulate alternative dairy management strategies under diverse economic and biological scenarios. - Integrating outputs from dairy business analysis (DBA) and multi-criteria decision analysis (MCDA). - Contributing to the development of an R Shiny–based, web-enabled decision-support tool for farmers, using machine learning (random forest) predictive models. - Working closely with the PhD student and PIs to ensure rigorous model development, documentation, and validation. This position offers unique opportunities to contribute to high‑impact translational research at the intersection of animal science, economics, systems modeling, data science, and agricultural decision-making.
