Implementation Accounting Specialist
Uplinq
• Design and implement streamlined Chart of Accounts and bookkeeping setups. • Clean up and reclassify historical transactions to ensure accurate financial records. • Reconcile bank, credit card, loan, and Balance Sheet accounts to external statements. • Prepare year-end workpapers and tie Balance Sheets to prior-year tax returns. • Troubleshoot QuickBooks Online issues and manage third-party app integrations. • Meet with clients to gather context, resolve questions, and communicate progress. • Collaborate cross-functionally to transition clients into ongoing bookkeeping services.
Job Requirements
- 5+ years of accounting experience (cash & accrual)
- Public or multi-client accounting background
- Strong reconciliation, cleanup, and Balance Sheet tie-out skills
- Advanced QuickBooks Online and third-party app experience
- Proficient in year-end workpapers and tax prep support
- Comfortable with client-facing communication
