Outbound Business Development Representative
Bloomerang
• Identify, engage, and qualify potential nonprofit customers who may not be actively looking for a new solution • Create demand with key decision-makers via cold call, email, LinkedIn and personalized messages • Generate and nurture a 90-day rolling pipeline of high-quality potential meetings from scratch • Partner closely with Account Executives to build pipeline, refine outreach strategies, and ensure seamless handoff of qualified opportunities • Consistently meet or exceed business development targets • Maintain accurate sales data and lead tracking in Salesforce
Job Requirements
- 1+ year of sales experience (SDR, BDR, or sales internship preferred) or business experience and a strong interest in SaaS sales
- Passion for helping nonprofits and desire to understand their challenges
- Self-starter mentality with the ability to adapt and push yourself without relying on warm leads
- Resilience and persistence; comfortable with rejection
- Strong communication and storytelling skills (written and verbal) to engage senior leaders and handle objections
- Curious and coachable mindset with drive to continuously improve
- Familiarity with Salesforce, Outreach, 6Sense is a plus
