Data Engineer – Technical Lead

• You will lead a multidisciplinary squad (AI + Engineering) to deliver AI solutions in production, focusing on process automation, reliability, governance, and value generation. • Lead a 5-person squad (AI Process Engineers / AI Scientists + Software/Integration Engineer). • Translate business objectives into clear deliverables (scope, success metrics, risks, roadmap). • Own production outcomes: adoption, quality, stability, cost, and impact. • Prioritize the backlog, manage stakeholders and align expectations (business, technology, compliance). • Ensure disciplined execution (rituals, quality, documentation, governance, and audit). • Drive solution architecture and process design decisions (with support from Tech Lead/Science/Governance).
Job Requirements
- Previous experience leading teams/squads in a corporate environment (Tech, Data, AI, Automation).
- Strong business fluency and ability to engage and lead stakeholders.
- Experience with process improvement/engineering (mapping, redesign, automation, SLAs).
- Experience delivering to production (not just PoCs), including quality and operations.
- Familiarity with applied AI (LLMs, agents, automation, risks and limitations).
- Experience in the financial sector (banks, insurers, fintechs, credit, risk, operations).
- Experience in regulated/auditable environments (LGPD/Brazilian data protection law, internal controls, compliance).
- Experience with AI governance, system observability, and value metrics.
