Fractional Tax Manager

• Lead, manage, and deliver exceptional tax services • Serve as a trusted business advisor aiming to maximize and achieve qualitative outcomes • Uphold the firm's vision, mission, operating values, and strategic road map • Foster a growth-oriented, positive, and encouraging work environment • Ensure compliance with all state, federal, and international tax laws • Provide innovative tax planning strategies and review complex income tax returns • Manage and coordinate tax audits, working closely with relevant internal partners • Monitor current and impending changes to tax regulations • Work with the accounting team to maintain accurate tax balances on General Ledgers • Assist with accounting and other special projects • Work with the administrative team to oversee and safeguard all information data requests received from clients
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance
- 5 + years of tax experience
- Proven experience as a Tax Manager or similar role in a public accounting or corporate environment
- Strong knowledge of state, federal, and international tax laws and regulations
- Expertise in providing tax planning and reviewing complex returns for individuals and businesses
- Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to manage and develop a team
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and advisory skills
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate processes and strategies clearly to various stakeholders
- Experience with client engagement, particularly in managing workflows and expectations for service delivery
- Experience in developing and applying frameworks like the 4 Cs (Clear, Concise, Collaborative, Continuous) in operational settings is a plus
- Experience in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with the ability to manage competing priorities effectively.
