Electrical Engineer
Davenergy Solutions
• Conduct engineering/electrical feasibility analysis, electrical studies, arc flash analysis, and electrical design services on a variety of building types • Perform field inspections of government, commercial, industrial, multifamily residential, manufacturing, and institutional properties • Collect relevant information to help perform existing condition assessments, electrical one-line documentation, arc flash studies • Provide engineering recommendations for critical power upgrades and electrical design • Help perform commissioning design review activities, construction verification, and field functional testing • Assist in electrical/mechanical design depending on project capacity
Job Requirements
- Critical power and infrastructure testing and assessment
- A professional degree in electrical engineering
- An understanding of and experience with a variety of electrical distribution systems
- Experience with medium voltage and low voltage power distribution
- Familiarity with NFPA, NEC, NETA, and IECC standards
- Working knowledge of building systems (HVAC, Plumbing, IT/Com, etc.)
- Site Survey and Analysis
- Excellent report writing skills, computer and internet skills
- Excellent communication and management skills
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Ability to complete assignments on-time and within budget
- Ability to utilize a variety of software programs to monitor, update, and produce work products by applying knowledge of computer literacy.
- Ability to exercise good interpersonal skills.
