• Work with back-end technologies, supporting APIs written in JavaScript and Python, as well as working with SQL and NoSQL databases, edge computing, and industrial gateways • Improve and refactor our Python API and microservices written in Python and JavaScript • On the front end, work with React web applications, as well as integration with Business Intelligence tools and charting libraries, building great dashboards for our clients • Work with edge computing, connecting sensors to edge devices that send IoT data to the cloud • Be responsible for reviewing work and helping mentor junior engineers

• Design, implement, and improve mechanisms to enhance the throughput and stability of the Solana network • Create and refine algorithms to ensure fair and efficient block production among validators • Identify and mitigate security vulnerabilities within consensus mechanisms to provide robust protection against emerging threats • Enhance the scalability of the consensus system to handle increasing transaction volumes and validator participation without compromising performance • Develop and execute comprehensive tests to validate the reliability and efficiency of consensus mechanisms, including stress tests, fault injection, and performance benchmarking • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including protocol engineers, security experts, and infrastructure teams, to ensure seamless integration and functioning of consensus components • Maintain thorough documentation of consensus protocols and conduct peer code reviews to ensure high standards of code quality and consistency

• Work in an agile cross-functional team with other engineers, product managers, and product designers to launch new products, features and experiments • Ship and iterate onboarding, activation, adoption and monetization experiences that create fast, repeatable value and turn first-time users into long-term fans • Engage in product discovery, participate in code reviews, and provide ad-hoc assistance to team members • Collaborate with engineers across the department to identify and implement improvements to our processes and systems • Share your knowledge and insights across the organization through tech talks and internal/external posts
