Test Manager

HumanIT Digital Consulting

• Lead and coordinate all testing activities across a major technical delivery programme within a regulated insurance and e-commerce environment • Own the full testing lifecycle, from test planning and script preparation through defect management, stakeholder reporting, and test closure • Collaborate closely with QA Leads, Engineers, project managers, and business stakeholders to ensure quality gates are met at every phase — SIT, UAT, and ORT

Job Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of experience managing and leading QA/testing teams on large-scale, end-to-end projects
  • Proven track record managing all testing phases: System Integration Testing (SIT), User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and Operational Readiness Testing (ORT)
  • Experience coordinating diverse, multi-stream teams including external partners and third-party vendors
  • Hands-on background as a QA Lead or Engineer, with the ability to cover resource responsibilities when needed
  • Extensive hands-on experience with JIRA (project/defect tracking) and Confluence (documentation and test management)
  • Proficiency with test automation tools (experience with at least one industry-standard framework required)
  • Strong skills in test planning, test script development (scenarios and test cases), defect tracking, and test data management
  • Solid understanding of testing policy considerations, including handling of sensitive customer data
  • Good domain knowledge in at least one of the following: testing methodology, insurance (specifically device protection), or e-commerce
  • Ability to understand, interpret, and validate business and application requirements in insurance/e-commerce contexts
  • Familiarity with test-programme concerns: risk and issue management, test design, and phase-specific testing approaches
  • Strong working knowledge of the full testing lifecycle (STLC)
  • Comfortable operating in both Agile (Scrum/Kanban) and Waterfall delivery environments
  • Experience producing and owning key testing artefacts: Test Goal, Test Strategy, Test Plan, Test Closure reports
  • Full professional fluency in English (written and spoken) — required
  • Full professional fluency in Spanish (written and spoken) — required
