Senior PeopleSoft Financials Developer (Migration & Integration)

ASSYST is seeking a Senior PeopleSoft Financials Developer (Migration & Integration) to support our client project in Austin, TX. Position will be remote. Program will allow candidates who are within the state (Any location within the State of Texas). Scope of Work The agency is seeking a skilled PeopleSoft Financials Developer for a critical migration project. The role involves analyzing a legacy system built on the .NET framework, reverse-engineering business logic, and extracting critical data, along with performing standard PeopleSoft development tasks. The candidate must have strong written and verbal communication skills to document and clearly explain legacy logic to the project team and stakeholders. Additional responsibilities include participating in SDLC activities and supporting project needs as required. Responsibilities - Utilize experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals independently. - Perform complex tasks with a high degree of creativity and latitude. - Lead and direct the work of others when required. - Review, analyze, and modify programming systems, including encoding, testing, and debugging, to support ERP applications. - Ensure seamless integration of software into the ERP system. - Coordinate software integration efforts and maintain technical documentation. Required Experience - 8+ years of relevant experience. - Development experience with PeopleTools. - Experience with PeopleTools 8.59 or higher. - Strong experience with advanced Oracle databases. - Ability to read and interpret .NET code (C#, VB.NET) and SQL Server stored procedures. - Experience with complex data migrations from legacy systems to PeopleSoft. Preferred Experience - Experience working with public sector organizations (Federal, State, or Local Government). - Experience with Comptroller of Public Accounts (CPA) CAPPS Financials. - Experience using Jira. - Experience working within the Scrum framework.
