Job Description
Actuarial Associate III
The Standard - StanCorp Financial Group
• Develop and maintain planning models and tools • Collaborate with pricing, valuation, finance, sales, and other functional areas to develop annual business plan and other projection analysis to help monitor business performance • Extract, analyze and prepare data for use in actuarial analysis • Analyze, interpret, and present numerical data related to pricing and other actuarial analysis • Communicate and collaborate with various departments across the organization to meet business needs • Anticipate customer needs and take initiative to address business challenges
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in mathematics, actuarial science, business, or a related field
- ASA Certification (required)
- Minimum 5 years of hands-on actuarial experience
- Individual Annuity or other annuity products experience highly preferred
- Proficient in MS Office and familiarity with actuarial tools and systems
- US Statutory and US GAAP experience preferred
- PowerBI, Python, SQL, and GGY AXIS experience preferred
