Software Development Engineer III – Frontend
HighLevel
• Architect and build Vue.js (2/3) applications with clean, modular, maintainable code • Design and manage state systems (Vuex/Pinia) that handle complex real-time UI flows • Collaborate with Design to create pixel-perfect, accessible, and performant interfaces • Profile and optimize rendering, bundle sizes, and browser performance • Work with Module Federation and other microfrontend strategies for scalable delivery • Contribute to and improve build pipelines (Vite, Webpack, Rollup) • Introduce patterns, abstractions, and structure to help others move faster with confidence • Review code, mentor peers, and help elevate frontend quality and standards
Job Requirements
- 4+ years of experience building production-grade web apps using Vue.js, React, or Angular
- Strong understanding of state management, component design patterns, and modern JS/TS
- Proficiency with frontend build systems (Webpack, Vite, Rollup, etc.)
- Practical understanding of UI/UX principles, responsiveness, and accessibility
- Experience using browser dev tools to diagnose and optimize performance
- Bonus: familiarity with Module Federation, micro-frontends, or multi-repo environments
- Bonus: Understanding of frontend observability (Sentry, Lighthouse, Chrome tracing)
