Principal Analytics Consultant – Power BI

• Deliver on project-based consulting engagements; help clients develop analytical requirements through prototyping and visualization. • Manage clients expectations by leading weekly status reports to clients; proactively solicit client feedback by running working sessions • Create reporting and data visualization solutions • Analyze, troubleshoot and / or tune product performance or deployment issues when required • Support or assist with backlog support and development • Identify and recommend functionality and solutions to meet and enhance user requirements • Recommend best practices to optimize data models, reports, and overall platform architecture
Job Requirements
- 7+ years of relevant experience and/or demonstrated expertise in data analytics and data visualization platforms in an enterprise environment
- 3+ years of external consulting experience
- Expertise in data visualization and data modeling with Power BI
- Power BI Service administration experience including security roles, infrastructure set up
- Expertise in DAX and Power Query
- Demonstrated expertise in data fluency and communicating to business users
- Knowledge of SQL experience leveraging data warehouse, data marts, and/or data models (in Snowflake environment preferred)
- Exceptional customer facing skills, including outstanding communication skills and project management skills
- Strong problem solving skills with a passion for learning and mastering new technologies, techniques, and procedures.
