Director, Sales
MGA Entertainment
• Develop and drive MGA’s International business development strategies in support of MGA’s growth objectives for the regions • Develop and implement Key Account, distributer and non-traditional channel sales development strategies that support the attainment of MGA’s retail sales objectives and franchise priorities, and deliver best in class retail solutions for MGA brand across the region • Lead all sales and marketing strategy development and implementation in the region and deliver assigned sales and margin goals • Manage key distributors and retailer relationships for MGA and position MGA brands as a priority brand with these key partners • Develop senior level merchant relationships at all key accounts • Prospect new business as required to attain annual sales goals • Be the “expert” on the region and proactively sell internal MGA partners on the benefits of meeting the unique product and marketing needs of the market • Drive and coordinate X-MGA retail synergy to deliver one-voice solutions at assigned accounts across toy sales, licensing team, licensees and promotional partners—ensure local toy distributers and licensing agents are collaborating and delivering total franchise solutions to retail • Drive operational synergies and best practice across the region
Job Requirements
- Experienced senior sales manager with proven ability to deliver results and lead a business development team in the Brazil marketplace
- Knowledge and experience working with assigned channels and accounts
- Knowledge of kids, toys and entertainment industry
- Experience dealing with retailers, distributers and licensee at a senior level in the region
- Proven ability to develop channel and Brazilian market specific sales strategies that deliver exceptional growth
- Process driven thinker with a strong appreciation for the bigger picture
- Strong quantitative skill set
- Strong computer based skill set across multiple platforms
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Organizational savvy a must
- Strong networking capabilities (Relationship building)
