• Design, build, and maintain AWS OpenSearch indexes, mappings, analyzers, and index templates • Develop .NET 8 (C#) backend services that ingest, index, and query data from OpenSearch • Implement and optimize OpenSearch query DSL for performance, relevance, and scalability • Design and maintain data ingestion pipelines that collect content from: Databases (relational and NoSQL), File-based sources (S3, documents, exports), External systems and APIs, Websites or content feeds (where applicable) • Normalize, enrich, and transform content prior to indexing (metadata extraction, text processing, field mapping) • Build and expose search APIs using AWS Lambda and API Gateway • Support batch and near–real-time indexing workflows • Deploy and operate services on AWS ECS and/or EC2 • Monitor, troubleshoot, and tune OpenSearch cluster health, indexing throughput, and query performance • Collaborate with frontend teams building React-based search experiences • Participate in architectural discussions around search relevance, scalability, and data modeling • Support client search deployments, including environment setup, tuning, and ongoing optimization • Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested backend code • Participate in code reviews and technical design discussions

• Help drive technical design and delivery of core platform capabilities spanning cloud infrastructure, Kubernetes platforms, Observability, CI/CD systems, and developer tooling • Architect, build, and operate cloud-native platforms on AWS with a focus on reliability, security, scalability, and cost efficiency • Lead the evolution of CI/CD pipelines and GitOps-based workflows • Build and maintain internal platform services and tooling that improve developer experience and delivery velocity • Continue to drive Infrastructure as Code and automation practices across teams • Partner with application teams to unblock delivery and align platform capabilities with developer needs • Participate in and/or lead complex, cross-team initiatives and provide technical clarity in ambiguous problem spaces • Improve operational excellence through observability, automation, and incident response • Mentor engineers and participate in on-call rotations

• Drive code standards & technical architecture norms • Own technical/engineering roadmap and architecture • Seek and implement best engineering practices • Participate in thorough code review to ensure quality and contribute to team momentum • Run day-to-day operations (standups, sprint planning, retrospective, issue triage)

• Own and drive the technical vision, architecture, and standards for data enablement within the CVML and robotics platform. • Serve as technical lead for major initiatives, guiding design, implementation, and delivery. • Mentor and coach Senior and Staff Engineers from a technical standpoint through design reviews, code reviews, and architectural guidance. • Design, build, and maintain scalable APIs and backend services exposing robotics, sensor, simulation, and ML lifecycle data. • Lead development of developer-facing applications and visualizations supporting model training, evaluation, debugging, and deployment workflows. • Architect, build, and operate data pipelines and workflows • Define and implement infrastructure-as-code with Terraform and Terragrunt. • Establish and evolve observability standards using Prometheus and Grafana. • Partner closely with MLEs, Data Scientists, Robotics Engineers, and Product to translate workflows into robust platform capabilities. • Get hands-on to unblock teams, resolve complex technical challenges, and lead response to high-priority incidents. • Clearly communicate technical decisions, tradeoffs, and architectural rationale to engineering and leadership stakeholders. • Applies a customer-first approach to platform design, ensuring solutions solve meaningful customer problems at scale.
