Financial Accountant
J4RVIS
• Manage day-to-day financial operations including bookkeeping, bank reconciliations, journals, and general ledger accuracy • Prepare and issue monthly client invoicing and manage accounts receivable to support healthy cash flow • Produce Service Line profitability reports, providing visibility on revenue, costs, and gross margins • Track budgets and perform variance analysis, highlighting risks and insights for leadership • Manage CAPEX vs OPEX classification, fixed asset register, and depreciation schedules • Ensure compliance with Australian tax and payroll requirements (BAS, IAS, superannuation) • Support month-end and quarterly close in collaboration with external Australian accountants
Job Requirements
- CPA or CA qualification (or equivalent accounting qualification)
- Experience supporting Australian entities, including GST, payroll, and compliance
- Strong hands-on background in bookkeeping, invoicing, payroll, and financial reporting
- Experience with cloud accounting platforms (e.g. Xero) and expense management tools
- High attention to detail with strong reconciliation and data accuracy skills
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment
- Clear written and verbal English communication skills
