• Design, optimize, and execute complex queries on large-scale medical databases while safeguarding system performance • Collaborate with PhD-level researchers to translate high-level research goals into scalable data pipelines • Process, structure, and prepare DICOM medical imaging data for research-ready AI applications • Balance algorithmic development with production-grade data cleaning and structuring • Own query timing and execution strategies to maintain system stability in production environments • Proactively identify and prevent performance bottlenecks across the data infrastructure
Job Requirements
- 3+ years of production experience with Python
- 3+ years of hands-on experience with Jupyter Notebooks, Google Colab, and R
- Strong Database Administration expertise, including query optimization, indexing, and performance tuning
- Solid understanding of system latency and the impact of heavy queries in production environments
- Technical level comparable to a Master’s or PhD in Data Science or Computer Science
- Strong communication skills and systems thinking, with a production-focused mindset
- Advanced English
- Experience developing AI algorithms, particularly in segmentation tasks (Nice to Have)
- Familiarity with DICOM standards and medical research data workflows (Nice to Have)
- Experience working with cloud-based data warehouses or large-scale medical data storage systems (Nice to Have)

Our team is seeking Case Managers to work with us in Tennessee. Case Managers are one of Mindoula’s key front-line roles in delivering our Population Health Program.
