Job Description

Event Manager – Event Organization & Project Management

Dataciders GmbH

• You assist in planning and organizing events such as trade shows, conferences and client events, including timelines, checklists and deadlines. • You coordinate vendors (catering, AV/technical services, exhibition builders), obtain quotes and track budgets. • You support participant and speaker management, including ticketing, registrations and program involvement. • You assist with communication with organizers, partners, sponsors and internal teams. • You support events on site: organizationally, by staffing booths and as the main contact for vendors and the team. • You coordinate event materials such as booths, giveaways and presentations. • You maintain structured documentation and conduct post-event follow-up.

Job Requirements

  • You have a commercial vocational qualification in the events sector or a university degree with approximately 3 years of professional experience in event or project management.
  • You possess strong organizational skills and a structured approach to work.
  • You bring a high level of service orientation, enjoy working with people, and have strong communication skills and a confident presence.
  • You work in a hands-on manner, are resilient and flexible, and are willing to take on operational tasks such as setup/teardown, logistics or materials handling.
  • You are familiar with B2B events, ideally from the IT or tech environment.
  • You have basic knowledge of event registration or event management tools, e.g. Eventbrite or HubSpot.
  • You are a team player and speak very good German and English.
  • You are willing to travel frequently within the DACH region (Germany, Austria, Switzerland).
  • You hold a Class B driving license valid in Europe.
