Established in 1958, BBBSM has become the premier nonprofit mentoring organization in South Florida, committed to championing hope and social good by defending the potential of children who need it most. Our headquarters, the Carnival Center for Excellence, offers a variety of facilities aimed at fostering ongoing mentoring and educational activities. As a Virtual Assistant, you will play a critical role in supporting our mission by managing administrative tasks, facilitating communication among staff and our community, and ensuring the smooth operation of our programs. The ideal candidate will be self-motivated, tech-savvy, and passionate about making a positive impact in the lives of children and teens. By contributing to our innovative mentoring programs, you will help cultivate strong, supportive relationships between our 'Littles' and 'Bigs' while enjoying a collaborative work environment focused on social transformation and community support. Responsibilities - Provide administrative support to BBBSM staff, including scheduling meetings and managing calendars. - Assist in maintaining accurate records and data entry for mentoring relationships. - Facilitate communication between staff, volunteers, and community partners through email and virtual platforms. - Help organize and coordinate events and activities related to mentoring programs. - Support the development and distribution of marketing materials to promote BBBSM programs. - Conduct research and compile information to assist with program development and evaluation. - Assist in managing social media accounts and online presence for BBBSM.
