Educational Therapist
Launch It Consulting
• Provide individualized instruction and support to students diagnosed with ASD1/ASD2 • Utilize various assessment tools to identify specific areas of need for each student. • Develop and implement personalized literacy plans that address students' unique challenges. • Monitor student progress and make adjustments to instruction as needed. • Collaborate with parents and educators to communicate student progress and strategies for support. • Create a positive and encouraging learning environment that motivates students to achieve their reading goals.
Job Requirements
- Master’s degree in Reading Education, Special Education, or Speech Language Pathology
- Certification as a Reading Specialist or similar credential is a plus.
- Experience working with students diagnosed with ASD1/ASD2
- Strong understanding of reading intervention strategies and evidence-based practices.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to build rapport and encourage students to enhance their reading skills.
- Availability to work flexible hours, including after-school and weekend sessions.
