Lead DevOps Engineer

• Design, maintain, and optimize CI/CD pipelines for automated build, testing, and deployment processes • Build and manage containerized environments using Docker and related tools • Support infrastructure across cloud and on-premise environments • Automate operational processes and infrastructure provisioning • Maintain secure and reliable environments for development and production • Collaborate with engineering teams to improve development workflows and system reliability • Support systems running on Google Cloud, internal servers, and embedded devices • Contribute to building AI-ready infrastructure, including environments where new projects can be quickly deployed on VMs and existing projects can be operated by automated agents (e.g., LLM-based workflows)

Job Requirements

  • Strong hands-on experience with Docker and Docker Compose in both local development setups and cloud environments
  • Experience designing and maintaining GitLab CI/CD pipelines, including reusable job templates and efficient YAML configurations
  • Proficiency in Bash, Python, and Terraform for scripting, infrastructure provisioning, metrics collection, and workflow automation
  • Solid background working with cloud platforms. Experience with Google Cloud Platform (such as Cloud Run, Compute Engine, Artifact Registry, and Cloud Storage) is highly valued, though similar experience with AWS or Azure is also acceptable
  • Knowledge of infrastructure security practices including SSL/TLS certificate automation, secrets management, and securing containerized or cloud-based workloads

Why this role matters: The Site Reliability Engineering role is a blend of infrastructure, networking, operating systems, automation, development, and application administration. It is a hands-on technical position in a fast-paced atmosphere. The ideal candidate has prior experience managing cloud-based SaaS applications and strives to solve traditional operations problems through automation and software. More so, the candidate must possess a high standard of excellence, have a strong customer focus, and is capable of technical deep dives into code, app servers, databases, load balancers, operating systems, and networks. Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) is a growing team that partners closely with Product Engineering, Security, and Support. We are responsible for the reliability, deployment, and continuous operation of the Ivanti Cloud services. We need your help to take our existing platform to the next level with observability, release automation, chaos engineering, and more. Role Description As a Software Engineer in our Clinical Informatics Services division, your mission will be to bridge the gap between complex data and actionable insights. You will analyze, design, and program bespoke and standardized integrations for our clients while building end-to-end data flows from ingestion to consumption.
