SAP Basis Administrator Department: Technology & Software Employment Type: Full Time Location: Remote - USA Compensation: $175,000 - $240,000 / year Description The candidate will support a variety of SAP development, testing, and automation environments by maintaining and supporting the production landscapes. Technical skills would range from standard daily support of SAP S/4HANA, ECC, HANA, Business Intelligence landscapes within Cloud/On premise environments hosted in various operating systems, to migrating systems, replicate and solve customer issues and troubleshooting system performance problems. Key Responsibilities - Install, configure, patch and upgrade SAP NetWeaver, S/4HANA, ECC, BW systems and Add-ons (SAP router, Solution Manager). - Manage SAP system landscapes (development, QA, production) including clients, instances, and transports. - Install and maintain SAP kernels and support packages; apply OSS notes and SAP patches. - Proactively monitor system health (CPU, memory, DB, I/O), job schedules, spool and application logs, tune parameters for performance. - Implement and manage SAP early-watch/health checks, alerting, and automated monitoring. - Administer supported databases (HANA, Oracle, MSSQL, DB2): backups, restores, high-availability, and disaster recovery planning/testing. - Manage storage, file systems, and growth forecasting, coordinate capacity planning with infrastructure team. - Manage SAP user administration, roles/authorizations (PFCG), SSO, and integration with corporate identity providers (AD/Azure AD). - Administer CTS/CTS+ and ChaRM processes; enforce transport governance and maintain transport routes. - Support release cycles, coordinate cutovers, perform system clones and refreshes. - Participate in system upgrades, migrations (on-prem ↔ cloud), S/4HANA conversions and platform modernization projects. - Implement automation for repetitive tasks (shell, PowerShell, Python, SAP tools). - Operate SAP on virtualized and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) including cost optimization, instance sizing, and cloud-native backup/replication. - Manage SAP-specific cloud services (HANA on cloud, SAP Cloud Platform connectivity). - Support integrations, middleware connectivity, and troubleshoot cross-system issues. - SAP Solution Manager, SAP HANA Studio, HANA Cockpit, DB tools (Oracle RMAN, SQL Server), OS (Linux variants, Windows, AIX), monitoring (Nagios, Prometheus, Dynatrace), cloud consoles (AWS/Azure/GCP). Skills, Knowledge and Expertise - BS in Computer Science. - 4+ years of experience in BASIS administration, system refreshes and migrations, user support, and cloud migration. - Strong Security and Authorization experience managing multiple instances of SAP environments - 4+ years of experience managing TCP/IP based networks, enterprise applications, and databases (HANA, MySQL, MAX DB, MS SQL, and Oracle) - Experienced in at least one full cycle install implementation and two module-based implementations (HR, FICO, SD/MM). - Experienced in Configuration and maintenance of Solution manager systems and configure satellite systems. - Experienced in Single-Sign-on Microsoft Windows Domain and Enterprise Portal. - Experienced in setting up Fiori launchpad, custom roles, various apps and gateway administration. - Management of UNIX (Linux/Unix/Solaris) systems - System process standardization and system stabilization. - Good written and verbal communication skills

This position also provides support to Arizona Department of Economic Security/ Division of Developmental Disabilities (DES/DDD) THP staff, Fee For Service (FFS) providers, tribal stakeholders, and AHCCCS staff while following guidelines, standard of care, regulations, policies, and procedures governing the provision of covered services.
