• Bridge the gap between business needs and data engineering solutions • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and analyze business requirements for data-driven projects • Translate complex business needs into technical specifications for the data engineering team • Perform ad-hoc analysis and create data visualizations to support business decisions • Assist in the optimization of data systems and processes for improved efficiency • Participate in Agile development processes and sprint planning • Document technical and business processes related to data systems • Stay current with emerging trends in data engineering and business intelligence
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field
- 3-5 years of experience in business analysis or related field
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Proficiency in SQL and experience with data manipulation techniques
- Experience working with large datasets and complex data systems
- Expertise in data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI
- Solid understanding of business intelligence concepts and data warehouse principles
- Project management skills and experience with Agile methodologies
- Knowledge of data engineering principles and practices
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
