Encore Staff Pharmacist Please note this role is open to Cigna Group retirees only. POSITION SUMMARY The Staff Pharmacist interprets physicians’ prescriptions, contacts doctors or other prescribers and/or patients to verify information on prescriptions and expedite processing of order. This position is responsible for dispensing medications within corporate and regulatory guidelines. The Staff Pharmacist will track order status and outstanding issues as well as consult with patients regarding the use of medications and potential drug interactions. This individual may take calls from clients regarding orders or clarification, maintain daily production, quality and service levels, vary work priorities and activities to accommodate business needs. ESSENTIAL DUTIES - Interpret physicians’ or prescribers’ prescriptions. Contact doctors and/or patients to verify information on prescriptions such as drug strength, prescription sig., and drug name in order to expedite processing of orders. Verify and confirm validity of controlled substances. - Verify prescription information entered in the system by data entry or order entry. Contact physicians for new and/or transfer authorization. Work with physicians to convert prescriptions to generic or preferred drugs whenever possible. - Consult with patients regarding the use of medications and potential drug interactions. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: - Accurately and efficiently processing prescription orders received through mail or electronic channels. - Conducting thorough reviews of incoming prescriptions for accuracy, completeness, and potential drug interactions. - Providing medication counseling and addressing patient inquiries regarding drug usage, side effects, and precautions. - Collaborating with healthcare providers to resolve any prescription-related issues. - Adhering to all applicable legal and regulatory requirements, including pharmacy laws and privacy guidelines. - Participating in quality assurance programs and continuous improvement initiatives. - Staying updated on new medications, pharmaceutical regulations, and industry developments. - Additional duties as assigned by leadership. Required: - Registered pharmacist, in good standing in the state - A degree in pharmacy (PharmD or BS) - Experience working in a pharmacy setting, preferably with mail order or similar experience - Knowledge of pharmacy laws and regulations - Strong focus on customer service, quality and accuracy - Ability to read and interpret prescriptions - Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills - Excellent oral and written communication skills - Ability to adapt in a dynamic work environment - Ability to learn quickly, solve problems and make decisions in a timely fashion - Able to work under pressure and to meet tight deadlines - Be compliant with the work from home policy which includes but is not limited to conducting business in a private area where others are not present located to ensure that company and patient information is kept confidential - Knowledge of Microsoft Office software (Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint) - Knowledge of Pharmacy Benefits Management Industry/Managed care industry is an asset - Must be able to work scheduled shifts - Ability to successfully complete Express Scripts’ required training program - If you will be working at home occasionally or permanently, the internet connection must be obtained through a cable broadband or fiber optic internet service provider with speeds of at least 10Mbps download/5Mbps upload. • Responsible for the successful completion of a steady flow of diverse and engaging retirement plan document projects ranging from basic to medium-level complexity. • Document Analysts must demonstrate a keen understanding of the importance of the accurate, professional and timely delivery of each individualized project. • Independently analyzing document design • Become internal expert on plan documents and design • Consulting to internal partners on the design of start-up plan documents • Processing of plan document from initial draft phase through finalization and delivery for both new plan documents and plan takeovers, including all ancillary documents (Summary Plan Description, Safe Harbor Notice, etc.). • Processing of plan document from initial draft phase through finalization and delivery for IRS-mandated restatements, including all ancillary documents. • Processing of plan amendments including discretionary amendments, Trustee changes and Plan Sponsor and Participating Employer changes. • Preparation of plan termination documents for both Defined Contribution and Defined Benefit plans. • Participation in special team project opportunities such as analysis of retirement plan legislation, creation of communication/processes for Interim Plan Amendments and development of training materials for internal partners such as plan Consultants, plan analysts and distribution team processors.

• Provide high-quality, timely support to Amplify customers via incoming calls, emails, voicemail, and chat sessions across multiple platforms and systems • Employ effective questioning techniques and strong attention to detail to validate the customer’s issue and provide an accurate, timely resolution with empathy • Create and track support tickets for each issue with a high level of detail, log all contacts, properly categorize issues, and follow up appropriately • Effectively manage a high volume of support tickets • Research solutions to customer questions and problems using Amplify’s Knowledge Base and other available resources • Manage a small team of contracted agents during peak onboarding season; support training, provide coaching, and handle discrete escalations. • Review and approve timecards for contractors, monitor overtime, and ensure adherence to scheduled hours. • Effectively collaborate and communicate with leadership and other team managers to share best practices and improve the overall performance of the Support Services team.

• Implement new client benefit setup and hierarchy based on the specific needs of the client • Modification client benefit setup based on plan design changes of existing clients • Develop all hierarchy levels in PBM system for client setups and configuration • Review and verify client setup is accurately reflected in PBM system • Support quality reviews and testing of all benefit setup prior to client implementation and go-live date • Partner with Compliance department to audit client setups and configuration post go-live • Resolve escalated and complex processing, change requests, issues or questions • Responsible for own work flow assignments and must be able to take the initiative to resolve problems and meet deadlines • Serve as a lead for team regarding any benefit and configuration issues or questions • Performs other duties as assigned • Complies with all policies and standards
