• As Manager Planning & Performance Management (m/w/d), you will be the driving force behind optimizing corporate controlling for our clients. • You act as an experienced player-coach, bringing deep subject-matter expertise and taking on the following exciting responsibilities: • Subject-matter consulting & conceptual design: You advise our clients strategically and technically on designing and optimizing their planning, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting processes. • Solution design for SAC Planning & BI: You design and implement forward-looking planning applications using SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) for Planning and sophisticated BI solutions to support decision-making. • Project leadership & business acquisition: You win and lead demanding client projects from requirements analysis and conceptual design through to a successful go-live, and you actively contribute to implementation and configuration. • Team building & development: You take on the technical leadership and build our consulting team in the Planning & Performance Management area, mentoring talent and ensuring their technical and methodological development. • Presales & business development: You actively support presales activities and further develop our service offerings around corporate controlling and SAP Analytics Cloud. • Networks & sales channels: You establish new sales channels in collaboration with strong partners such as SAP, DSAG, or industry associations and maintain these relationships. • Knowledge multiplier & expert: You position yourself and nfaculty as thought leaders in Planning & Performance Management by developing and delivering technical presentations, webinars, and training. • Career perspective: With us you have a clear opportunity to develop into a Director with broad, including commercial, responsibility.
Job Requirements
- A completed university degree – your field of study is less important than your proven expertise.
- At least 5 years of relevant professional experience with strong expertise in corporate controlling, finance planning, or corporate governance – preferably from consulting or a line role.
- Solid knowledge of and practical project experience with SAP Analytics Cloud (especially SAC Planning) and/or other relevant planning and BI tools (e.g., SAP Business Warehouse, Power BI, Tagetik, Board).
- A good understanding of finance- and controlling-related processes in SAP S/4HANA.
- Strong understanding of business processes, KPI frameworks, and modern methods of corporate planning and performance management.
- Knowledge of the SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP) is a major plus.
- Initial experience in providing technical guidance to teams or leading (sub)projects and the ambition to build and develop a team.
- Strong customer orientation, communication, and presentation skills to act as a trusted advisor and interlocutor with business units and management.
- Entrepreneurial mindset, initiative, a hands-on mentality, and the drive to make an impact in a newly founded company.
- Fluent German and English skills (each at least C1 level).
- Willingness to travel for client-specific workshops, team events, and internal meetings (your home base is remote).
