District 8 Coordinator

SkillsUSA, Texas Association, High School Secondary Division

• Support the Executive Director in operating the State office and its functions • Plan and execute Fall Leadership and District Contests • Provide leadership and assistance to new chapter advisors • Work with Regional Manager to create partnerships with Department of Education and local school administrators • Collaborate with the Director of Championships for District Leadership and Skills Conferences

Job Requirements

  • Minimum of five years of experience in the education field
  • Prior SkillsUSA work history, experience in career and technical education (CTE) classroom and career and technical student organizations (CTSOs) is a plus
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues, alumni, and public
  • Strong written and oral communication, planning, and organizational skills
  • Proven ability to organize and complete multiple tasks simultaneously with attention to detail and prioritization to meet deadlines.
