Experian
• Design, develop and maintain robust, scalable applications • Develop and maintain backend services and APIs using Python • Ensure code quality through automated testing, code reviews and engineering best practices • Participate in architecture discussions, proposing scalable and secure solutions • Support the definition of development standards and technical documentation • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (frontend, QA, product) to deliver end-to-end solutions • Mentor and support more junior developers on the team
Job Requirements
- Strong experience with Python
- Experience with web frameworks such as Django, Flask or FastAPI
- Knowledge of REST API design
- Experience with relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and NoSQL (MongoDB, Redis)
- Solid knowledge of automated testing (pytest, unittest)
- Experience with cloud environments (AWS) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)
- Experience with messaging systems (Kafka, RabbitMQ, SQS, NATS)
- Knowledge of observability tools (Datadog, Prometheus, Grafana)
- Experience with agile practices (Scrum/Kanban)
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems or related fields
