Journalist – AI Trainer
10x Team
Updated: 23 March 2026 Freelance | 8–20 hrs/week | Remote (EU/UK) Are you a PR specialist or journalist who wants to apply your media and communication expertise in a new way? Do you have 8 to 20 hours per week available alongside your current role, newsroom work or freelance assignments? We are looking for experienced PR professionals and journalists based in the EU or UK to help improve advanced AI systems. What you’ll be doing We are 10x.team, a platform for fractional and freelance professionals. We partner with leading AI labs to improve large AI systems. Your role is practical and high impact. You will: - Review and refine AI generated responses related to media, communications and public narratives - Evaluate outputs for factual accuracy, clarity, tone, balance and editorial quality - Draft realistic media scenarios such as crisis communications, press releases, executive statements, investigative angles or reputation management situations - Create variations of the same scenario from different perspectives such as journalist, editor, PR director, spokesperson or corporate communications lead - Identify weaknesses in sourcing logic, narrative framing, bias, messaging coherence or reputational risk assessment In simple terms: You will assess and improve AI generated content to ensure it reflects real world media standards, journalistic integrity and professional communication practice. This is not newsroom reporting or agency campaign execution. Instead of producing content for one outlet or client, you will help improve how AI systems understand and generate high quality media and communication content at scale. Your input directly improves how AI performs on media, journalism and public relations topics. Who this is for You are: - A PR specialist, communications professional, journalist, editor or media strategist - Based in the EU or UK - With several years of experience in journalism, public relations, corporate communications or media strategy - Experienced in areas such as crisis communication, press relations, investigative reporting, brand reputation or public affairs - Comfortable identifying weak sourcing, biased framing, unclear messaging or reputational blind spots - Available 8 to 20 hours per week - Able to start in the coming weeks This role is fully remote and flexible. It works well alongside your existing professional commitments. Why join - Flexible hours - Fully remote - Apply your media and communication expertise in the field of AI - Contribute to improving widely used AI systems - Clear scope and structured onboarding - Potential for longer term collaboration based on performance - Screening process - The process is straightforward and fully guided. - After applying, you will complete: - A short AI based interview - A brief written evaluation focused on editorial and communication reasoning - A compliance check to verify your identity and professional background After a successful selection and onboarding, you’ll be eligible to start on upcoming projects as they become available. #LI-AS1 #LI-TT1
