Technical Consultant – Test Automation

Enable

• This role centers on building and maturing automated test frameworks that strengthen Enable’s implementation quality and delivery velocity. • The Technical Consultant serves as a bridge between our customers and technical teams, ensuring automation supports project outcomes, reduces regression risk, and accelerates solution validation. • The role still performs software customizations and integrations, but this is secondary to developing and operationalizing automated testing across projects. • As part of Professional Services, the consultant contributes hands-on expertise, partners with Functional Consulting and Project Management, and helps institutionalize engineering best practices that support scalable, repeatable delivery.

Job Requirements

  • Relevant post-secondary qualification or substantial professional experience.
  • 3 to 5 years' experience as a Test Automation Engineer, SDET, or equivalent.
  • Experience building automated test suites for complex systems.
  • Experience in ERP or enterprise software delivery environments.
  • Requirements gathering or business analysis experience.
  • Demonstrated ability to design, build, and maintain automated test frameworks, preferably supporting enterprise or ERP-adjacent environments.
  • Proficiency in scripting and coding languages commonly used for automation.
  • Ability to translate functional requirements into automation strategies that improve delivery quality.
  • Experience developing with C#, .NET, and SQL
  • Strong communication and client-facing skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in globally distributed teams.

Qualifications - Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience. - 5+ years of experience in a professional services firm or private industry focused on technical solutions. - 4+ years of experience with Microsoft D365 CRM implementations. - 2+ years of project management experience in a professional services or similar environment. - Expert-level understanding of Microsoft D365 CRM modules: Sales, Customer Service, Field Service, Project Operations, and Marketing. - Experience defining business requirements, managing business processes, and client relationship management. Preferred Qualifications - Experience implementing Microsoft D365 CRM in Construction/Real Estate, Nonprofit, or Manufacturing industries. - Experience with Agile project management methodologies and tools (e.g., JIRA, DevOps).
