• Build and evolve our Data Platform • You are responsible for its day-to-day reliability: you implement observability metrics, monitor performance, investigate alerts and optimize our ingestion pipelines. • You have real latitude to identify areas for improvement and propose them to the team, whether in architecture, tools or processes. • Accelerate the work of Analytics Engineers and Data Analysts • You are their primary technical partner: you support them in data modeling and transformation, challenge their SQL queries, and help evolve their practices on the platform. • Develop concrete solutions • You write code, automate workflows, connect external APIs with a constant focus on quality, testability and readability. • You use generative AI (Claude Code, Copilot) as a daily accelerator to speed up development, improve code quality and automate repetitive tasks. • Contribute to engineering as a whole • From technical scoping to production deployment, you are involved across the entire cycle: defining appropriate architectures, following security and compliance best practices (GDPR), managing critical incidents and writing actionable post-mortems.
Job Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of experience in data engineering or a similar role
- Master's degree (Bac+4/5) in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent
- Strong proficiency in Python, with a strong interest in data manipulation
- Advanced SQL skills for data transformation and querying
- Experience with an orchestrator (e.g., Airflow) and a transformation tool (e.g., dbt)
- Good level of technical English
- Experience or knowledge of Kubernetes (k8s) for deployment and infrastructure management (nice to have)
- Experience with Terraform or other Infrastructure as Code (nice to have)
- Knowledge of GitOps practices (ArgoCD, Helm, versioning) (nice to have)
- Comfortable using generative AI tools (Claude Code, Copilot, etc.) as a daily lever (nice to have)
- Familiarity with data visualization tools (Metabase or equivalent) (nice to have)
- Curious, proactive and action-oriented: you enjoy learning, exploring and following through on your ideas.
