Frontend Software Engineer
CSG
Role Description Joining our team as a Frontend Software Engineer, you will collaborate with our cross-functional team to build features/technology for the CSG Quote & Order product. In your first 90 days, you’ll get comfortable with our system, join a squad, build strong relationships with the team, and get started building cool new features that our customers love. What you'll do - Build out frontend features using Angular, Web Components and REST API technology. - Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code. - Participate in code reviews and mentoring of junior developers. - Work with your squad to deliver awesome new features on time and continuously improve. - Collaborate with product and design teams to turn stories into impactful, user-friendly UI/X. - Partner up with Test Engineers to assess issues and resolve bugs. Qualifications - 3+ years of experience in front-end fundamentals (HTML, CSS, JavaScript). - Good knowledge of building user-friendly UI/UX with modern CSS frameworks (i.e: Tailwind, Bootstrap, Material Design). - Experience in contemporary JavaScript frameworks (i.e: Angular or React, Vue, Svelte, Nodejs). - The ability to communicate well, and work in a collaborative team environment. - A bachelor's degree in Computer Science / Information Technology related field, or equivalent experience. The Quote & Order team does not maintain a dedicated office space, so your position will be 100% remote with the exception of several in-person workshops during the year (in Bali – see below – and Melbourne). - Twice-yearly workshops in Bali: Twice a year the whole Quote & Order team gets together in Bali, Indonesia for dedicated in-person time including team presentations, hackathon sessions, training and team-building activities. - Paid volunteer days: Everyone at CSG gets two paid days per year to volunteer at a community organisation of your choice.

• Build and maintain responsive, high-fidelity web applications using React and TypeScript. • Design and implement the technical logic and schemas that power our core platform. • Proactively identify, troubleshoot, and resolve frontend bugs and support issues. • Take ownership of the technical setup for new accounts. • Help develop internal workflows and tools that allow us to scale our platform's capabilities. • Work with the engineering team to monitor platform health and implement frontend optimizations.
