Job Description
Infrastructure & DevOps / Automation Engineer
Intersog
• Design, build, and maintain infrastructure using **Terraform & Azure DevOps** [Ansible as Secondary objective] • Develop reusable modules for multi-environment deployments (dev, test, production) • Automate provisioning of Virtual machines (VMware / Hyper-V), Networking components (VLANs, firewalls, load balancers), Storage systems, Cloud resources (Azure/AWS if applicable) • Develop and maintain **Ansible playbooks and Terraform Plans, Azure pipelines and roles** • Automate OS provisioning and hardening, Application deployments, Patch management, Configuration drift remediation • Integrate Ansible/Terraform with CI/CD pipelines • Integrate automation workflows with CI/CD tools (Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, Jenkins) • Build automated pipelines for infrastructure deployment and validation • Implement version control and change tracking for all automation artifacts • Support and automate Virtualization platforms (VMware ESXi / Hyper-V), Windows Server and/or Linux systems, Networking (routing, switching, firewall policies) • Work closely with infrastructure and security teams to ensure compliance • Automate monitoring deployment and alerting configurations • Improve system reliability through automation and self-healing scripts • Troubleshoot automation failures and infrastructure issues • Implement secure configurations aligned with NIST, ISO 27001, or similar frameworks • Automate security baselines and compliance checks • Manage secrets securely (e.g., Vault, Key Vault) • Develop and maintain Automation standards, SOPs and runbooks • Ensure all automation is Version-controlled, Documented and Auditable
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience
- 7+ years of hands-on experience in infrastructure or DevOps engineering
- Strong experience with **Terraform (advanced)** / **Ansible (advanced)**
- Experience with Virtualization (VMware ESXi, Hyper-V), Windows Server and/or Linux administration, Networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, VLANs, routing)
- Preferred Qualifications**
- Experience with Azure or AWS cloud platforms - CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps preferred) - Veeam Backup & Replication
- Knowledge of - OT/SCADA environments (highly desirable) - Cybersecurity frameworks (NERC CIP, IEC 62443)
- Scripting experience - PowerShell, Python, Bash

- Excellent documentation and communication skills
- Detail-oriented with a focus on automation quality and reliability
