• As a Senior Software Engineer, you will play a critical role in driving the development of complex, multi-system features with a high degree of autonomy. • You’ll independently own feature delivery from design through deployment, ensuring quality and scalability while mentoring junior engineers and fostering a culture of technical excellence. • You’ll work closely with product and engineering teams to influence requirements during refinement and sprint planning, helping shape solutions that meet both business and technical goals. • Your deep understanding of multiple frameworks and end-to-end workflows will enable you to apply advanced techniques to large-scale features and contribute meaningfully to system design and architecture. • This role requires strong adherence to established development best practices, including code quality, testing, documentation, and CI/CD processes. • Leading by example, you will be championing engineering standards and continuously improving how software is built and delivered.

• Own the technical direction and architecture of our iOS platform • Lead the development of advanced iOS features using Swift and SwiftUI • Drive platform modernization initiatives, including modularization and Swift Concurrency • Define and enforce mobile engineering standards • Establish and expand automated testing strategies • Collaborate with backend and infrastructure teams to design scalable APIs • Lead the evolution of the mobile architecture and design systems

• Improve developer velocity across the engineering organization. You'll measure and optimize the inner loop - how long it takes an engineer to go from code change to confident production deployment. • Shape the architecture of Ladder's production infrastructure. You'll evaluate trade-offs and make high-impact technical decisions. • Participate in incident response for infrastructure, run retrospectives, and help drive follow-through on fixes as part of the team. • Systematically pay down infrastructure tech debt. You'll partner with your team to identify legacy systems that have been superseded by better alternatives and build a roadmap to retire them. • You'll raise the engineering bar through code reviews, design reviews, and technical guidance.
