• Lead the German finance organization: You take full responsibility for accounting, controlling, and reporting in Germany, ensuring accuracy, transparency, and scalability as the business grows. • Drive finance transformation: You lead and contribute to group-wide initiatives that modernize finance systems, automate processes, and strengthen data-driven reporting and analytics. • Ensure regulatory excellence: You are accountable for compliance with German GAAP (HGB) and IFRS, ensuring robust financial governance in a complex regulatory environment. • Own key external relationships: You act as the primary point of contact for auditors, tax advisors, and financial institutions in Germany and work with investment banks and corporate finance advisors, managing these partnerships with confidence and credibility. • Develop high-performing teams: You mentor and grow a strong finance team, fostering a culture of accountability, curiosity, and continuous improvement. • Partner with leadership: You work closely with senior stakeholders across the business to support strategic decisions and translate financial insights into actionable recommendations.
Job Requirements
- Strong finance leadership background: You hold a recognized accounting qualification and bring more than ten years of experience in finance roles, including senior leadership positions with significant transformation or project responsibility.
- Technical excellence: You have deep, hands-on knowledge of IFRS and are comfortable handling complex accounting topics in a fast-paced environment.
- International mindset: You communicate fluently in German and English and are confident working with both local and international stakeholders.
