Deployment Engineering Lead

• Leading and overseeing the Client Deployment Team, guaranteeing smooth delivery of solutions, including high-/low-level design with final technical deployment and integration of the solutions • Managing the planning, preparing, and setting up of lab, test, and production environments for client and partnership deployments • Supervising the installation and configuration of cloud-native solutions using Kubernetes • Driving a culture of automation, automation, automation – focusing on technical deployment and identifying ways to speed up these processes across the team • Ensuring the stability of solutions by maintaining, monitoring, administering, and updating current deployments • Coordinating customer requests and disseminating client information at a leadership level • Unlocking operational efficiency in deployment and support procedures

Job Requirements

  • Proven experience in a lead or senior technical role within deployment or systems engineering
  • Experience with Linux machines (setup, admin, operation)
  • Experience with complex networking infrastructures including routing, switching, firewalls techniques
  • Knowledge of telecommunications systems (4G, 5G, IMS)
  • Hands-on in Kubernetes administration
  • Debugging and tracing skills (Wireshark)
  • Fluency in English

Role Description KX Systems is actively looking for a DevOps Engineer to join our Strategic R&D team. The DevOps Engineer will be a leader in designing and constructing the infrastructure on which our cloud services are deployed. On a day-to-day basis, you will: - Design platform transformations and migrations towards modern cloud infrastructure. - Ensure smooth and reliable operation of our application platform, the surrounding ecosystem of microservices, and their dependencies. - Bring your creativity to improve our current infrastructure and introduce new automation where needed. - Troubleshoot, debug and follow-up on emerging issues in our application stack and its surroundings. - Implement and utilize configuration management and deployment tools. - Assist in the architectural design of new services and making them operate at scale.
