• Lead M&A processes, from target identification to post-acquisition integration • Advise the executive team and Board on growth opportunities and market trends • Drive competitive analysis and contribute to strategic planning efforts • Provide support with financial modeling, funding negotiations and strategic initiatives

• Achieve a minimum of $2M annually in institutional funding through foundation and government proposals. • Manage a defined portfolio of prospects and funders, ensuring timely submission of letters of inquiry, applications, and reports. • Lead the development of all grant proposals, budgets, and supporting documentation in collaboration with Programs and Finance teams. • Maintain responsibility for grant timelines, reporting schedules, and compliance deliverables. • Develop and maintain comprehensive tracking systems for grants, deadlines, and funder engagement. • Research and identify new funding opportunities that align with organizational priorities. • Monitor trends in government and foundation funding to position the Foundation competitively. • Cultivate and manage productive relationships with program officers, grant managers, and agency staff. • Serve as the primary liaison for day-to-day funder communication and requests. • Work closely with Programs, Finance, Marketing/Communications, and Development teams to ensure proposal accuracy and alignment. • Coordinate with the Senior Director to support the execution of the institutional giving strategy.

• Responsible for identifying and controlling company liability and associated costs for groundwater and associated media • Optimize WM landfill capacity and development costs • Implementation of company-wide environmental protection programs and policies • Provide leadership of certain corporate technical programs focused on asset protection and management of enterprise risk • Develop and implement standards related to the protection, control, and management of groundwater • Direct and manage internal and external company resources • Design and implement strategic project plans • Monitor emerging issues in environmental regulatory requirements • Direct communication with local, state, or national stakeholders
