Role Description Mutt Data is looking for a Devops Specialist to help take our expertise to the next level. If you consider yourself a data nerd like us, we’d love to connect! Responsibilities - Infrastructure & Platform - Design and manage cloud infrastructure across AWS, GCP, or Azure. - Maintain infrastructure as code using Terraform or similar tools. - Operate Kubernetes clusters and containerized workloads. - Maintain CI/CD pipelines and support deployment automation. - Manage core data platform infrastructure (e.g., Databricks environments). - Security & Compliance - Implement security best practices across cloud environments (IAM, encryption, secrets management). - Support compliance initiatives such as ISO 27001, SOC 2, or GDPR. - Perform vulnerability management and access reviews. - Automation & Internal Systems - Automate infrastructure and internal processes using scripting and workflow tools. - Improve self-service capabilities for engineering teams. - Client & Team Support - Provision and manage infrastructure within client cloud environments when needed. - Support engineering teams with environment setup and infrastructure troubleshooting. Qualifications - 5+ years of experience in DevOps, SRE, or Platform Engineering roles. - Strong experience with cloud infrastructure (AWS required; GCP or Azure is a plus). - Proficiency with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform. - Solid understanding of networking fundamentals (VPCs, subnets, DNS, VPNs). - Experience running Kubernetes in production environments. - Scripting skills (Python or Bash) for automation. - Experience with identity and access management (SSO, RBAC, secrets management). - Familiarity with security and compliance frameworks such as ISO 27001 or SOC 2. Requirements - Experience working in consulting or multi-client environments (nice to have). - Databricks administration or data platform infrastructure experience (nice to have). - Familiarity with device management tools (Jamf, Intune) (nice to have). - Exposure to AI/ML infrastructure or data platform security patterns (nice to have).
