Role Description - You will design and implement APIs, databases, and backend services using Java, Spring Boot, OpenAPI, Kafka, Oracle PL/SQL, and PostgreSQL, following clean code and API-first principles. - Develop responsive and user-friendly web interfaces with Angular and TypeScript, aligned with modern UX/UI standards. - Automate deployments and testing pipelines using CI/CD tools such as Gradle, GitLab, and Open Shift. - Actively participate in code reviews, architectural discussions, and technical decision-making. - Collaborate with product owners, architects, QA, and business stakeholders to translate business needs into technical solutions. - Build professional relationships with clients, management, and team members to ensure the delivery of proposed solutions. - Drive technical design decisions and challenge requirements when needed. - Propose architectural improvements (modularity, scalability, performance, security). Qualifications - You have a degree in Informatics, Business Informatics, Computer Science, or a related field, equipping you with a strong foundation in technology and digital transformation. - You have 5+ years of hands-on experience in backend and full stack development (Java and Spring Boot), with a strong focus on clean code, architecture, and automated testing. - Proven experience building scalable web applications using Angular or React and TypeScript. - Strong expertise in cloud-native development, with hands-on experience on AWS and/or Azure. - Solid background in containerization and CI/CD pipelines, supporting both on-premises and cloud-based projects from scratch. - You have a strong customer-oriented mindset, ensuring technical solutions align with business objectives and end-user needs. - Advanced written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills in business English and German are mandatory. - Practical exposure to AI-assisted development tools (e.g. Copilot, AI-based code analysis, test generation, or documentation support) is a plus.
