Role Description We are sharing a specialised part-time consulting opportunity for finance professionals with strong experience in direct lending, private credit, leveraged finance, and alternative asset management. This role supports an exciting collaboration with a leading AI research laboratory focused on developing advanced AI systems that can replicate real-world private credit, direct lending, and alternative investment workflows. Selected professionals will work closely with AI researchers to help train, test, and refine AI agents across tasks such as: - Deal underwriting - Credit analysis - Portfolio monitoring - Investor reporting - Broader lending and private credit workflows Qualifications - 3+ years of experience in Direct Lending, Private Credit, Leveraged Finance, or Alternative Asset Management - Experience at top-tier firms such as Ares, Apollo, Blackstone Credit, KKR Credit, Golub Capital, Oaktree, or similar organizations - A Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field - Strong familiarity with credit agreements, financial covenants, underwriting models, and deal documentation - Experience across middle-market lending, sponsor-backed transactions, or structured credit - Excellent analytical, writing, and communication skills Requirements - Detail the day-to-day workflows of professionals in direct lending, private credit, and alternative asset management - Provide insight into deal sourcing, execution, and portfolio monitoring workflows - Help translate real-world lending and investment processes into structured AI training inputs - Analyze and explain credit underwriting processes, including due diligence, risk assessment, and structuring - Identify and categorize key documents used across private credit transactions, including credit memos, investment committee materials, term sheets, covenants, and lender presentations - Distinguish between public versus private information in credit markets and lending processes - Collaborate with AI researchers to convert domain expertise into structured training data - Support the refinement of AI systems designed to replicate private credit and alternative lending workflows - Apply practical experience from direct lending and credit investing environments to improve model quality and relevance Benefits - Contribute specialised finance expertise to a cutting-edge AI collaboration - Help shape how advanced AI systems perform across private credit and lending workflows - Work on high-impact model training and evaluation tasks with leading AI researchers - Flexible remote work with strong hourly compensation Contract Details - Independent contractor role - Fully remote with flexible scheduling - Hourly compensation of $110–$150 per hour - Part-time commitment with a minimum of 10 hours per week - Start date expected within 1–2 weeks - Projects may be extended, shortened, or concluded early depending on project needs and performance - Weekly payments via Stripe or Wise - Work will not involve access to confidential or proprietary information from any employer, client, or institution - Please note: We are unable to support H1-B or STEM OPT candidates at this time - Start date: Immediate Company Description This opportunity is available through a leading AI-driven work platform that connects domain experts with frontier AI research projects. Job Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in Direct Lending, Private Credit, Leveraged Finance, or Alternative Asset Management
  • Experience at top-tier firms such as Ares, Apollo, Blackstone Credit, KKR Credit, Golub Capital, Oaktree, or similar organizations
  • A Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field
