Technical Inside Sales Engineer
Catalyst Acoustics Group
• Serve as a senior technical resource to national sales, A/E firms, contractors, and channel partners. • Review architectural, structural, and mechanical documents to determine appropriate vibration isolation and seismic solutions. • Perform detailed quantity take-offs from construction documents for vibration isolation and seismic systems, ensuring accuracy and completeness. • Own estimating inputs including scope definition, assumptions, exclusions, pricing inputs, and technical clarifications. • Prepare comprehensive technical and commercial proposals, coordinating internal inputs required to release accurate, on-time quotes. • Lead the technical review of submittals and shop drawings, including redlines and constructability feedback. • Manage multiple concurrent projects, prioritizing based on impact, complexity, and timeline sensitivity.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree preferred (engineering, construction management, or technical discipline a plus).
- 10–15+ years of experience performing technical take-offs, estimating, and inside sales support, with specific depth in vibration isolation and seismic applications.
- Extensive experience interpreting construction documents, specifications, and schedules for complex projects.
- Expert-level take-off and estimating capability, particularly for vibration isolation and seismic systems.
- Strong technical aptitude with the ability to translate drawings and requirements into accurate, buildable solutions.
- High attention to detail, organization, and deadline management across multiple complex projects.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills; confident interacting with A/E firms, contractors, and internal teams.
- CRM proficiency and comfort working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven sales support environment.
